Which Lakes Region property has the best foliage?
Full Post and Comments
October 5th, 2009
The views from the properties along Newfound Lake are hard to beat. Newfound Lake is the third largest lake in the New Hampshire Lakes Region Lakes, in its surface you’ll see some amazing fall color.
The lake is nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains (Bear Mountain to the West, Tenney Hill and Tenney Mountain to the North, and Plymouth Mountain to the East) with peaks ranging from 1600 – 2000+ feet. The variety of elevations presents an incredible medley of color. Higher trees turning first; while some trees along the lake shore still cling to a little bit of green.
Looking to the North across the lake from Alexandria and Bristol NH, these properties present great leaf peeping opportunities:

Mobile Sites on Websites
Full Post and Comments
August 7th, 2009
Ever wonder what the “Mobile Site” icon is on a website? In this ever changing technology, more and more people are doing business from their mobile phones. When you see the “Mobile Site” icon on a website from your PDA, click and you’ll receive a much more concise webpage that you can easily read from your PDA.
Greg Sterling, principal of Sterling Marketing Intelligence and analyst of mobile communications, offered statistics that pointed to how pervasive mobile use among consumers is becoming. Even though e-commerce is only 3.5 percent of all U.S. retail purchases, according to 2009 U.S. Census Bureau figures, 58 percent would use the Internet to research an electronics purchase, according to 2008 Nielsen research.

Is This A Good Time To Buy?
Full Post and Comments
June 29th, 2009
According to some experts, the real estate market may have hit bottom. Prices in the Northeast were up 6/10th of one percent last month. Sales of homes in April were up in every segment of the country with the exception of the Midwest, with the Northeast showing the biggest gain, up 12%. This is good news when you consider that all we’ve heard is bad news for the past two years. Economists are also quietly saying that they think that we will be out of this recession by the end of the year.
There is one gorilla in the room that may have an impact on any progress, and that is interest rates. Rates have been climbing rapidly, and there is a lot of pressure for them to continue that trend. Inflation is also a big concern as evidenced by increasing gas prices.
So, is this a good time to buy? The answer is yes! With inventories high and prices still deflated, now is the time to move into that dream home that we all espier to.
